425nm Posted June 19, 2011 Report Share Posted June 19, 2011 Hey guys. So as the title indicates, my electric catfish has been picking up sand in his/her mouth and spitting it out. This is a new behaviour, having started about two weeks ago. The cat is in a 40 gallon tank with a 50 and a 70 gallon aquaclear hangon filter. The temperature is 26.5C.
