Sprucegruve
Lol. Monster fishkeeper said this. There are two "purple-spotted gobies", the are actually a related family, elotidae (sleepers and gudgeons), one is currently protected from collection. That is the Western spotted gudgeon (Mogurnda adspersa) and it gets around 5 1/2" The other is the more common Morgunda morgunda, also called a spotted trout gudgeon, it is a bit larger (7"). Both tolerate 9-20dH, 6-8pH, and can be kept at tropical temps but the adspersa prefers the mid 60s F. They will eat some algae but mainly eat any living creature small enough to get into their mouths Number1 http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=27593&stc=1&d=1146273872 Number2 http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=27594&stc=1&d=1146273872 I hope this helps.
