polleni-puffer Posted November 8, 2011 Report Share Posted November 8, 2011 So I have a school of splash tetras in a smaller somewhat planted tank ,and tonight ,the dominant male was just CRAZY !! His fins were blood red ,the red tips on this scales glowed ,and he got the black stripe going down his side. It was crazy. I`m not sure ,it could have been him just "showing off" .but who knows ?? I've never seen any of them with black black sides before... Also sorry for the poor video and picture quality. My camera isnt the best. Eugene Posted August 11, 2012 Report Share Posted August 11, 2012 I have them too there nice but stationary in my tank unless there sparing and eatin gthey stay in the dark end.Wondering if anyone's had problems with them from fighting to hard in my group of 7 , 2 started showing signs of either a white fungus not fuzzy or white color bleaching .Took them out and in iso there justabout healed.
