If I unplugged it, for tank maintenance, and then plugged it back in, it would go back to cycles of quiet and noise until it stopped making noise. Still annoying. I finally changed the impeller, shaft, and bushings. WOW, that made a difference! I don't know what was wrong, I can't see any scuff marks or anything different about the new parts, but it's back to normal!!!!! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
