JohnnyCustom
Had a pail of unused reef salt given to me by a friend. Found out it has all hardened. Chipped some out and broke it up. Ends up leaving undiluted "flakes" in the water. Suggestions? Besides dumping it and scoring another pail.
Jayba
Use it to make brine shrimp and keep ice off the sidewalks maybe.
Wingin' It
add water and keep it to use later...you may need a hydrometer/refractometer afterwards though to make sure you get a good mix ratio.
JohnnyCustom
Already tried mixing some. I wouldn't recommend it! The sidewalk salt is a sweet idea!!!
Sprucegruve
Try boiling the water before mixing in the salt, maybe that would allow it to desolve completely. Or the sidewalk salt idea works too
