I stopped keeping fish two years ago becasue I bought a fish from a big store here in edmonton with a disease and it wiped my whole tank out. I had everything from tetras and danios to frontosas and haps. I have been recently looking to purchase a tank fairly cheap since I am in school and don't have much money. Maybe this time you can set up a small quarantine tank to temporarily house new purchases until you know they are safe to add to your community aquarium. From time to time full setups as well as bare tanks are posted for sale on this forum...i'd also consider kijiji or other online ad sites to maximize your reach.
