jeremoose
Hey all, I got a couple large Anubias yesterday and one of them had some pretty holey leaves. I read online that the leaves will not heal holes like this, is this true? If they won't I'm going to want to trim the leaves back. Do I want to trim just the leaf off or do I want to take them off at the base of the stem? Thanks.
Guppygirl
Just take them off at the base of the leaf stem. The rhizome will look bare but given time it will regrow leaves and in some cases new plants from where the old leaf was. As long as the rhizome is green and firm it most likely will regrow. Good luck.
