manoffish
hello. I have just stared in the hobby of keeping fish. but have jumped in feet first. I was woundering what peoples thoughts are on keeping lucky bamboo ( Dracaena sanderiana) in an aquarium and if so do you think a crayfish and/or apple snail will eat it? Thanks. Wingin' It
Welcome to the forum.! The ornamental Bamboo grows fine when partially submerged but to keep it healthy long term you would want to keep the leafy portion above water. What kind of crayfish are you looking to keep? Some apple snails do eat plants while others don't.
Cgy_Betta_Guy
Welcome to AA! Jumping right into it is the best way to get into the hobby... just be sure you read up on the nitrogen cycle and cycling your tank so you have healthy happy fishies! +1 to what Wingin 'it said regarding the bamboo
