newearth Posted June 15, 2013 Report Share Posted June 15, 2013 Looking for suggestion for T5HO bulb replacements, I had an algae out break here over the last few months lack of water changes was what I was thinking. Now I am not sure. I was told T5 don't need to be replaced till they burn out is that right ?? The bulbs are just about a year old I have a 2 bulb system it sits 5" above the tank witch is a 55 gallon 48x13x 20 I like to keep medium to easy plants and have co2 and plant substrate. any ideas on the best type of bulb to use ?
