I was just wondering if there was anywhere better than the grocery store... I'm looking at trying my hand at breeding some fish that require a fairly low pH; our 8.2 water just won't cut it. That being said, there were a few places around that had vending machines that'd fill a 5gal jug for a twoonie. Not sure if that's still available - seems most places charge $3 per jug. If that's what your closest grocery store charges, it might be the way to go. Doubt you'd save much driving across the city to try to save a buck.
