Mmmm charis all I know is:

Tiny little white worm found in shrimp head (rostrum?), but I fact can be all over the body, like all over. I know, by experience, they hate fresh water aquarium salt, I'm doing a few baths as we speak, you can see the parasite trying to escape the host. So long story short after a few of these baths he should be pretty clean.

I see Scutariella japonica commonly with neo's from larger farms / exporters - for the most part they are fairly harmless but good idea to drip any infected individuals.

I don't really have a set ratio, I usually tablespoons of aquarium salt inside one of my medium breeder boxes and dip them for around 5-10 seconds. Usually one dip is all it takes. For more sensitive species you can dip them for shorter periods but do it multiple times and put the shrimp / crayfish inside the tank for a few minutes in between dips
