punman
How has the discus keeping been going lately? I tried it five years ago with 8 discus. After 18 months had three left and gave up and sold them and put that tank back into African cichlids. Don't think I will go that route again. I am normally a good, patient fish keeper but it got the best of me.
dezemer
That is almost exactly how it went for me when I tried discus. Also they were raised on frozen food and for the life of me I could not convert them to pellets. I tried soaking the pellets in blood worms and shrimp. Nothing worked..... A few months later I was back to my trusty Aulonocara........
RDFISHGUY
That’s exactly how it went boys. Pain in the but. Water changes galore and even with auto water change system they got the best of me. I’m sticking with Asian fish. They are hard to kill. Also have a few Aulonacara species, a couple of turtles and a Bichir and a hybrid ray.
