rudy
The umbees at Petland are 1-1.25 inches. I would get the last of the ones from Petland. They are growing the fastest from what I have seen and although they are picked over they look to be better. Nothing worse than an umbee that does not grow. Albert, would this be the best time to say I got $20 says that fish is a female...... Edited January 30, 2006 by rudy
Madness
After realizing that Red Tiger Mota wasn't an Umbee, I just HAD to get some in They're pretty small still, but showing some serious spunk I think I have them for like $
canucklehead
I couldn't resist and picked up 2 from Riverfront, I have a new theory on males. more elongate and thinner when young, I forgot how mean they are.
rudy
How about you Chris. Would you say Alberts is Male?

rudy
Maybe I am just pissed off that I gave it away, but... Here is a pic of the mother...... http://www.cichlidforums.com/showthread.ph...highlight=umbee I still think it is a female. Get it pissed off and check out its dorsal. If there is even a hint of black which I think I am seeing it is a female. Edited January 30, 2006 by rudy

albert_dao
The dorsal fin is actually not black, that's just some weird artifact of photography. It's bright green. Anyway, I thought you sold off the bigger sibling of this guy Tim?
