finaddict
I just swithched over to a sunglo 40w bulb for my 90g cichlid tank and am finding it way to yellow , it looks as if someone peed in the tank! Any one else use the hagen sun glo bulbs??? I think I might return it..It looks aweful for a 42k bulb! imo
RD.
Yeah, they are very yellow. Get the Life-Glo, clean crisp white light.

Golfnut
Yeah go with life-glow or power-glow. Regards, andrew
Vallisneria
I have a combo of life glo and powerglo on my african tank and like the look. It brings out the blues nicely. Or if you want daylight bulbs from home depot work also. They aren't as "white" looking as the lifeglos or powerglos though, but are way cheaper
