Golfnut
I have metal/iron stand that my 45 sits on now. It is 48"x13". If I got a 90 gallon, 48"x18" and I put a 3/4" plywood base do you think that the stand would be strong enough for it? ...basically there would be 3" of over hang on the front&back of the stand... THANKS! Andrew Edited February 2, 2006 by Golfnut
Majestic_Aquariums
the thought kinda scares me...even if the plywood supports, and the stand WILL hold, I have a feeling it will be awfully wobbly..
discus
I would not do that
vic
HHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM: From 45g to 90G is a doubling of the water load. This amounts to about 360 pounds. Best have indoor/outdoor carpet and good drainage. Cheers;
