canucklehead
I was thinking of adding a bichir to one of my tanks, what would be the most active species to get? I'd like one that swam around atleast a little bit, those big ones at riverfront seem pretty active
fatpuffer
Polypterus senegalus are one of the more active bichirs. Js
Reza
I have a female senegalus which is very active. She is only 6" but gets along well with my 16" arowana and puffers. No one cares about her and I have yet to see her show interest in anyone else. An awesome tankmate.
Toirtis
P. palmas polli are by far the most active, followed by senegals.....and it just so happens that the 'retropinnis' bichirs currently in Golds are actually palmas polli.
