  1. I'am assuming that is right, because it was very easy. This one is going to be alittle harder to figure out. Actualy there is only 2 other people on this board who might know what it is beside myself.
  2. Archocentrus octofasciatus OR Jack Dempsey
  3. It might have something to do with the updates we have to do every now and again. Some times we run into small glitches and they have to be worked out. Tanker would be able to walk you through this better than i, if need be. So we should wait for his reply.
  4. I had a few a couple years ago, but i sold them before they got to big. I believe Rudy and Canuklehead had larger ones, but they are also gone. Whaty would you like to know?
  5. This months winner of the MOTM contest and a $20 GIft Cert for Natures Corner Store is BlackMumba. BlackMumba is the winner for the contributions she has made on the forum. She always has a soft word to others and has a calming personality. Congrats and keep up the good work. Thankyou from Alberta Aquatica.
  6. I mostly keep larger Central American cichlids. Welcome to the site.
  7. A tank of that size shouldn't need a center brace, unless the are some defects in the glass. But If you have some extra glass laying around, doing a center brace is not a bad idea for some extra insurance.
  8. Space?! Your a young lad...sell your bed and go buy a 180g, and put it where your bed used to be. Problem solved. :smokey:
  9. In my opinion a 90g is too small for a male once it reaches 12" or so. You should get away with any type of Larger Pl*cos or characins. With some hiding spots you might even get way with some convicts or HRP's, and if they do get eaten. Well it wasn't a very expensive.
  10. A 90g would be alright fo a female, but a male would need a larger tank. So 2 would be no good for a tank that small.
  11. Lets not get into a vendor review. To answer your question...take the time and go to the south side.
  12. Not great to be honest. Most of the stuff we carried were more of the community fish, along with some african/south american cichlids and of course goldfish. We had about 20 freshwater tanks, and maybe 15 salt water, most of the salt water came from the Pacific. Although I don't know much about saltwater fish. We couldn't get predatory fish like snake heads, Oscars where hard to get, and some other Cichlids and Arrowana. Also, aquatic plants weren't allowed. Discus came in, but always in bad shape. Aquatic supplies was also limited in some aspects. I guess that would make sense. You wouldn't want introduce a Snake head into their ecosystem. Eitherway welcome and i hope you enjoy your time here.
  13. Hello and welcome. Of course you can mention that you work at Pisces. Just don't post any reveiws about Pisces or any other stores thankyou. Tell me...what was the selection of fish like in the store in the Caribbean?
  14. I highly suggest going to either natures Corner or AE to buy your NLS. They will be the cheapest by a long shot... That's if anyone else even carries NLS.
  15. Everytime i go to Calgary i go to Golds and Riverfronts.
  16. I have been thinking about doing away with that limit restriction. We'll talk about the Pros & Cons in the staff forum and get back to you as soon as we can. If you haven't heard back in 2 weeks then please send me a P.M. and i'll try to expedite the decision process. t-man: Did you receive my Private Message to you a couple days ago?
  17. Very nice. What other C/A's do you have?
  18. This months winner of the MOTM contest is Patrick. Patrick has shared his wealth of experience knowledge with us nearly everyday. For that we are proud to give him a $20 gift Cert generously donated by Natures Corner Store. Congrats and keep up the quality posting Patrick.
  19. Have you tried Natures Corner Store? I'am perdy sure Henry will have something for you there.
  20. Do you know what fish if any he will be bringing?
  21. I agree 100% with Toirtis. if your tank is larger than 100g i would go with a FX-5. *I have 2 and i love them.* If your tank is smaller then 100g than the Eheim classic filters are unbeatable.
  22. I have removed that option from the members. So that that can't happen anymore.
