I feel your pain! The first time my Cray ever molted I freaked out thinking he had died! They do seem to enjoy eating the shell as well, it is just gross to watch them drag it around while eating it. :shock:

A friend of mine was looking after a 150 Gallon tank Salt Water tank for a couple of months ago for some friends while they moved. They have decided they don't want the tank back, so she is able to purchase some coral, plants, and live rock for it now. My question is, are they any local (Edmonton) stores that you would recommend she takes a look at? I know that they are several suppliers online, and I would appreciate any direction you can give me (which I will pass it on to her ). Thanks!

I have a 27 Gallon tank that I would like to put some Cichlids in. I know that with this size tank my options are limited, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what to start with? I am currently fish cycling the tank, and it will be empty when I decide on what Cichilds to go with. I really like the colourful ones (you have never heard that one before eh? ). I have heard that I could put in some German Rams or Rainbow Cichlids. Does anyone have any ideas on what Cichlids (and tankmates) go with? I would appreciate the suggestions. Taryn
