  1. well thats really bad news about the leak..I know how you must feel, hope the fish survive just fine, sounds like they are in good care!
  2. That looks great! He helped me design my 180 gal a month or so ago, no charge either, as he was too busy to build it for me. My DIY didnt turn out as nice as yours looks, but its just as solid, very nice work Leon, cant wait to see the finished product.
  3. Heres a thought..sell it as is to someone with reptiles or something, and keep shopping for another tank. If you patch it, its probably gonna break..if you replace the panel, its going to cost ALOT, then you have to change it, re silicone the tank, and hope it doesnt leak, or break in the process of replacement. Oh, and DONT try to use plexi-glass and silicone, it wont hold.
  4. If you wanted, you could put a solid piece of steel 3" c-channel inside the stand, the width of the tank. Then have 2 steel channels on the ends acting as posts. I dont think it would break as it is. Glass wont act as a bearing wall Im afraid, though. Bottom would smash out 1st. Just thoughts from a dummy.
  5. Well Done for sure! Looks great, hope it all turns out good, nice work, would love to have one n my house some day. Ever think about starting a buisness? Dont think theres anyone out there that does this type of work, you could make lotsa $$$!
