  1. Wow amazing pictures. Ir eally hope I can get a good camera that helps me take some close ups without blur lol.
  2. Very nice. The 20 planted looks pretty big lol. Love the hap tank.
  3. I was just thinking about when I posted pics when I just got these and thought they were yellow labs, LOL. The one is pale, with black stripes, partial black dorsal, and the rest are pretty yellow/orange, more like salousi. Sorry about the bad quality, hopefully I will get a decent digital camera soon:
  4. Do you think that this would work? The dots are holes drilled in the bottom are for water to drain. HOW IT WOULD WORK: The water flows into the intake tube placed on the top of the standard storage tower. Each of the top two drawers would have holes drilled in the bottom for water escape, and each drawer would be filled with bio balls, sponges, or pan scrubbers. The storage tower would be placed inside of a 45 gallon rubbermaid container filled with water where the return pump would be placed. So there we have it, my idea which is alot like one of the ideas on another forum. I need to know if you think this would actually work. I am a complete noob at all this pvc pipe stuff, so does anyone know alot about the return pump, and the overflows and spray bars? That's all I really need help with. Thanks for glancing, ryan
  5. that's a b*tchin sized aquarium. Excuse my language can you please post pics lol.
  6. Wow that's crazy. you'd think it would come spilling out of the hole things.
  7. That's one of the cutest looking dogs I've seen in my life. It's the type of dog you want to break into a house, walk by the fish tank and steal the dog hahaha. Very cool.
  8. Odd question I know . Was just wondering if your fish ended up gaining some weight while relatives were over? I found myself feeding tiny amounts to my fish every time one of my relatives came in and saw them ha. Now they have large tummies like the rest of the family LOL Ryan
  9. Wow pricey light unit..I would be too cheap for one of them, but those different lights and gadgets are sweet!
  10. Wow, I wish mine looked like that. It's perfect, actually looks like you bought it, very good work!

  16. very nice. In the 150 gal pic, what kind of rainbow is that at the top of the picture?
  17. thanks sue. I saw this tornado thing you mentioned..they both swim like their mad in circles around each other trying to show their best side heh.
  18. I have to say it, as much as I dislike goldfish...the poor buggers
  19. I havn't really had any money to have this yet, but I did end up buying a 15 gallon one month and a 52 gallon a month later :| Which made a hefty dent in my wallet, I can only imagine what's going to happen when I have a steady job going on..Maybe I will take some courses " your money, your fish - and you" lmao
  20. Two lab hybrids were circling each other for quite a while and I got it on camera, are they fighting or what? http://s43.photobucket.com/albums/e364/Bro...nt=CLIP0018.flv

  22. I would just make a tank devoted to one of them guys if I went SW lol.
  23. Yes the lights are very weak, in my 52 gallon. The tank with the plants in it is a 15 gallon with a single 15W bulb in it :/ I am upgrading my 52 and hopefully the 15 next time I go up to lloydminster so hopefully that'll help out lots. The 15 seems very bright for some reason though..possibly the white sand.. Thanks.
