That pic could easily have been taken in my tank. Exactly that pose. Freaked Candace a bit the first time, so nudged him witha bamboo scewer, and he came charging up it hell-bent-for-leather trying to kill me. Well, not really, but it did startle me :>

I did it. It went nust and the java moss twned around in it, and it made a lovely loach playground

I use the needlepoint mesh myself, works fantastic. If you want to make a super neat job of it get some plastic corner bead from home depot for cheap and silicone it to that... snug fit and tidy appearance. On a side note, I finally got to hand feed the male snowflake moray today :P

Needs vs. wants, really. My <insert picky predator here> eats live <insert haples prey here> vs.I want to see <two cute things> beat the living piss out of each other. Personally I could care less about whether or not two creatures slightly smarter than celery fight for a while, even (melodramatic music) to the death. How would I like it? I wouldn't be smart enough to stop myself from doing it, let alone care to.
