Just picked some up. Any hints/tips with this plant? I have high light, pressurized CO2 and EI method.

Thanks, Taylor. I love watching the big group of rummy nose schooling around the tank.

Nice color of green on that guy!

need a cheaper lighting suggestion

Sunblaster T5HO's work well for me. I can't remember what the specific pricing on the 3 and 4 foot lights is, but the 2 foot ones were a good way for me to save some money on my 20 gallon tank. There are a few places that sell them in Calgary: Sunblaster website. HTH. -
This tank is now a low heat community tank. 12 long-finned white cloud minnows and 4 panda cories have made it home and some of my plants migrated into it too. Lighting is a Hagen glo.

Thanks for sharing all of those videos and pictures! I love watching the shrimp munch on algae. Caesar was a stunning creature.

Looks good! -
Algae is under control and I added some rummy nose and some cories. The white clouds will be moving out to another tank now along with the pandas. The rummy nose are definitely staying. Apologies for the dirty glass.

What is the best way to run two tanks off of the same CO2 tank with the possibility of different bubble rates between the two aquariums?

Funny how life works, eh?

Well, this morning I sold off all of the malawis in this tank to cichlidmomwanabe. I decided to sell them off as I am committed to shutting down one of my 90 gallons and won't have the room for everything that I want to keep. I am really glad that they are going to someone who will take great care of them. As time goes on I feel like my fish interests are more in the planted world, but I will look back on this tank with fond memories.

Thanks for the advice, Jason. The algae is starting to get under control. I have added some more amanos, some crypts and I finally found some Hemianthus callitrichoides 'Cuba' at Nature's! Because of the HC I added on the third light to the tank, so the WPG is now 3.6.

I've had fish sucked up when I was taking water out of the tank, but never while I was filling it! Amazing that he made it out alive.

I personally like my FX5. I would like a bigger canister volume, but you can do a mod for that if you really want.

Sweet nic!

Just stop by Totem before you go into Nature's and grab some free popcorn!

Thanks! It's quite the algae farm right now, especially hair algae, which is why there haven't been any new pics for a while. I just purchased a powerhead for the CO2 deliver, 6 amano shrimp and 2 nerite snails which I am hoping will help in the fight against the algae. I also added another 6 white clouds to up the school to 12.

From what I heard, they are out of business.

Nice shots. If this keeps up I will be one of maybe three people on the site that doesn't have an aro, lol. -
That looks like it could be entered into contests once there is water in it! Great job!
