  1. Eyebiter: Sunburst: Sunburst (the blue is really showing up well lately) Compressiceps:
  2. Razorblades are great for the glass. For decorations, I find that drying them out for a week and then cleaning them with a toothbrush and some vinegar is effective.
  3. That would be awesome! I have been tempted to do an 8 foot tank with these guys but the 90s work for now.
  4. Great looking project! The metal bars are a great idea.
  5. Amazing, Deborah! What a cool experience. Thanks for sharing!
  6. Nice setup! That male is a stunner. Best of luck with the spawning.
  7. That's awesome, Ray! I hope you have a great time with them.
  8. Thanks, guys. That last pictures was with the Nikon D80 I borrowed, which is a really sweet camera. Robin, you won't regret it if you do take the tropheus-plunge!
  9. I don't know a lot about CAs, but that looks like a synspilum to me.
  10. Thanks for the compliments, guys. Great idea! Thanks, Neil. I'll try that out tomorrow at feeding time.
  11. Cool! I find it really annoying that in order to get most videos on the net I have to compress the video so severely. You could sell DVDs of that setup!
  12. Great video! What are you shooting it with and what software are you using to edit it? Inquiring minds want to know, lol.
  13. I posted a video in my member journal. There are some new pics in that thread and the 150 one as well. Link to thread
  14. I took some footage of the tropheus tank, more shots from further back so viewers can get a sense of the constant movement and activity of the tank. As always, questions or comments are welcome. Tropheus Video
  15. I am borrowing a Nikon D80 for the weekend. Here is a pic of the electric blue:
  16. They are looking good, Taylor! Are the two in the last shot doing some fighting? :boxer:
  17. Awesome photo. It looks like his forehead is about to pulse that white/yellow color!
  18. Great shots. When does your book come out?
  19. 24. Right now it seems that 55 gallon tanks are a good deal and are readily available too!
  20. The plastic ones that you get from the dollar store.
  21. Great tank! I like how the rocks are the dominant part of the landscape at the beginning and then over time you can barely notice with all the plant growth. Cool transformation.
  22. Jonah, please do us all a favor and start a member journal! Sweet fish!
  23. It's nice to know that it's in good hands, eh? Still looking forward to seeing the mod develop. Make sure you take lots of pics!
