  4. When you build it make sure your arm can fit in it I double hinged mine so I can get my arm in with taking the top off. It houses 2X250w metal halides and 2 T5 atinics

  6. Salt water is wayyyyy easier than it sounds, now planted tank for me is imposible and keeping cichlids happy without ripping each other to shreds haven't figured that out either. Reef tanks is easy to find the balance they become self sufficient just feed them couple times a week no algae no fighting it is acually stress free :thumbs:

  8. Saltwater flow through my veins but because of the wife I have 3 fresh tanks and only 2 salt

  13. Can you imagine how big the corals and clams could get? The salt would cost fortune. Yeah but coral propagation would actually make money to pay for it, I see it as way to pay for itself :thumbs:
  14. Mandarins got me into salt water. I had one in my 90 but I only had about 66# of rock which is not enough to keep him alive. I tried to get him frozen with no luck he lasted just shy of a year( The only fish salt fish I have lost not due to jumping or powerfailure). Now I have about 120# of rock and lots on my refugium so that should be enough to maintain one.

  18. need some more details flow? what kind of lights how old are they? how long they on for? any other livestock besides the shrimp? what ever the case more flow, reduce light time, reduce feeding. Flow & old bulbs or not the right "K" is usually the cause for algae like that
  19. Amazing tank.....I seen it when it was the tank of them month on Reef Central. Amazing what you can do with unlimited funds
