I like the idea but what u need to figer out is what the volume in lets say cm3 (centmeaters cubed) so find out how big the inside of your filter hose is and how big your heater is and match the pvc pipe so that with the heater u have the same amount of volume as the line off your filter has. if your pipe is to small your will creat a venturi effect, which will lower the pressure but incress the flow on the out part of the inline heater. which might screw with the suction part. sorry if this is confusing it makes sence in my head Larry

i am planing on takeing the jump into salt and was thinking of getting some sort of all in one deal. the ones i have kinda looked at so far are the 29g bio cube, i think a 34 red sea, and a 28g jbj. which one do you prefer and why? everywere i go just seems to sell me infomation on the one they carry. i want to make it more of a reef set up with corals and such, with a few critters. thanks Skin

Hello i am thinking about makeing my own background for in the tank and i have a few questions. 1 can u use pink foam bord inside the tank? 2 can you use the foam in a can inside the tank? 3 can you use automotive resin on the foam and put it inside the tank or anyother resin? 4 is there paint that you can get that is aquarium safe? what i was planing on doing is layering the pink foam bord and carving out the tree area and rocks. then coat the whole thing in some sort of resin to round the edges and make it hard. then i want to some how seal the whole thing, but i am not sure what to use for that part. then i want to mix sand with paint and paint the whole thing. then air brush on the details any advice on certain products or technics would be awsom This is a photo of what i am gonna try to make Skin

Hello i am in the midist of setting up a 187g tank and have a few questions the tank is 60L x 24W x 30T question one can i use the pink 1" foam for under the tank or does it need to be the blue stuff? Number two i am planing on putting around 264 lbs of sil 9 in the tank should i get some sort of foam for the bottom of the inside of the tank or should it be fine on the glass the tank is 1/2" on the sides and 5/8" on the bottom thank you in advance Skin
