I never started this thread so it can turn into a banter. I started it to maybe update certain things and give some sort or suggestion.

i dont have glass top just the plastic stock one with enough window for one light. or what do you suggest

some more info.... the light is a single t8 18" 15watt neon. there is little to no direct sunlight that gets the tank. i change the water every wednesday and sunday and i change out approx 30-40%, its been set up for approx 3-4months now. as for fish load there is 6 pygmy cories, 8 red rams, and a couple guppies to help train the rams to stop hiding. the substrate is the black florite about 1-2" worth. for filtation i have a single marineland biowheel 400? the biggest one does up to a 90 gal tank. a 150w heater set at approx 71F.

it wasnt up for debate guys, was just throwing it out there just in case. thank you Blake your absolutely right. it is long gone.

so i have a large anubias on drift wood and the plant itself is growing brown stuff on it along with some hair algae. i guess my questions are: 1. how do i rid the plant of this brown looking stuff on the leafs.? 2. how to i rid myself of hair algae? 3. how do i get thwm healthier? my set up is a 25 tall with black florite for gravel i dose with seachem florish, and for lighting its a t8 ultra sun light. lighting is on for 7-8 hours a day. thank you in advance.

Hello, just would like to let you know of some thieves. I recently purchased a used 120 with stand fx5 glass lids and t5 lights. I had it delivered to my place, but put in the back yard so i could go get my buddy for some help. I came home and the tank and everything is missing. If you see anything for sale thats similar please let me know. I have fish coming from Harold on the 18th and now my tank is missing and cant afford another set up. Hey all, For some reason i am having an algae issue, and i never had an issue before. So its a Thick Dark green type of algae. Its taking over everything. Rocks, Glass the top, and there is even hair growing on some of the plants. WHY OH WHY is this happening lol. Any help would be appreciated. Should i just leave this tank for some algae eating shrimp?

Hey just looking for some ideas on a Vivarium, anywhere in the range of 120-180gal tank. even looking for a corner tank that is about 100gal in size. throw up some ideas. there will be fish and frogs in this with live plants. have hte lights already along with heaters. just toss me your ideas.

Great pics as always Patrick. Flip, if you do decide to, it is well worth it. I have 3 tanks setup right now with just vic's and they have been the most enjoyable fish I have ever had.
