I ended up not being able to move my fish. The day I went to send them call to confirm the price with westjet and the price went from $600 to around $2400 so I had to find them homes in ontario. Now they did ship my to lizards both of which made it ok but the airplane was definatly not heated as it took them about 4 days to get back to their normal colours because they were so cold.

not shipping them out now as west jets intial quote was for $400, when we called to confirm everything the total was over $2200 so I guess I now have to find homes for them.

Thank you for all the advice I am sure it will help. I have had 3 55gal tanks setup for my arrival as I could not get any larger delivered and am in the process of purchasing bigger.

my id shark is around 22 inches

I have considered selling them but I have had the shark for 5 years and really there is no one around that I think could care for them. Same with one of my goldfish is 14.

As it says, flying out large oscar, large id shark a bunch of small convicts and other smaller fish. No one here in ontarios seems to be of any help about how I should prepare them for the flight, how to bag them, what bags to use and should I fill the bags with oxygen and does it need to be medical or can it be industrial grade. The airline says they have to be in plastic totes, so I figured I would line those with styrofoam to help with warmth. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks will

i have switched tanks back and forth a few times between fish reptiles and for the most part ones that size do not have any trouble being filled with water

I have used building bricks in my tanks for around eight years and never seemed to have a problem. they were great to build caves and hiding places. The only think I found is some had a fairly sharp edges so we just filed them down alittle before putting them in
