Actually, from being in there even for the night he seems better, more active and less white stuff showing, (does not look like what I would call a fungus, but who knows), actually looks like waterspots when they dry on the outside of the tank..maybe that will help anyone. Going to be doing a major cleaning of the main tank (50Gl) to make sure nobody else gets sick, though none of them are showing any signs of illness at all, better safe than sorry.. don't have enough hospital tanks if they all do get sick!

Spots on head and some on tail fins too, not eating the tail or head. What do you think? have him in QT. New male, threw in an unbred female, shes full of eggs, all barred up, he's made a very nice nest, he flares..rubs against her, she is calm and waiting, even rolling a bit to the side for the "Embrace" and he ...does nothing! Slow learner?

My hubbies big Black Moore is totally all over his Shubunkin, ( OMG :shock: read that after typing..thats funny)I know you can check and sex of goldfish basically only during spawn, he has the little white pimply dots etc on gill plates to verify Moby is a male... now..since they are technically both goldfish...what do you think? I was watching spawning videos etc to see if thats what he is doing and ....thats an affirmative... Horney little devil. No clue if the Shubunkin (Bullseye) is even a girl but hes got the hots for it something fierce!

<Ex Vet Tech Assistant> I know that human drugs can be prescribed for animals and I know that levimasole is actually prescribed for people with Colorectal Cancer, The big question is, is it a restricted drug due to the severe condition in humans it treats, and is there a pharmacy that will have it in stock... Yes in other words, if you phone a Vet, explain the situation, they should be able to call a pharmacy and set you up!

See funny thing is, my 72gal with its inhabitants (sig) had the dalmation mollies in it for so long until I noticed my one female was ballooning up so moved them to the 10 with a breeder tank for my roly polie olie girl. they were fine, guess it is like what firestorm said if they are fast enough and have hidey holes..there is more of a chance they will do fine. Funny thing is my cobalt red top chases the other cichlids and my plec's around, has the tank as his teritory (until I mess it again) but left the mollies alone....
