Had a good time as per usual but only ended up with some cories.. but also got some plants from AC and was great to see so many friends!!

There will be coolers for sale there, just in case.....

Good news Superguppy girl... my tanks are too full and am only looking for bargains or rare plants...Might even have time to cuddle the kid...

I love the look of open top tanks and have several. Amazed by what I find in the carpet crispies..bns, kribs, but I find it's mainly new fish or some sort of a battle over territory. Open top tanks are a great way to grow plants and also plants that grow out of the tank.. If the fish are depressed.. it happens..

I've had them before and they seem pretty easy. I think lost them as I had waaaay too many plants in there....

Or you could sell it at the ACE auction. I hear that syno321 goes nuts for the stuff...

I have a secret... not only do I like bettas, cories and plants but I also like wild type livebearers. and now I have more. Picked up some unidentified mollies at the ACE show over a year ago and they are doing what mollies do in my tanks.. make more.. These little guys are gorgeous with a silver body, striping and yellow dorsals and tails with a dot on the tail.. Just what I need more fish that like hard water and planted tanks...

I have bolivians and they're mine.. all mine. muhaha...

Superguppygirl, I refuse to be distracted by cute babies... well maybe.. ask frogfish.. I will be there but may be bidding on behalf of someone else. And for the record, I've never won in the great "cory" war... I just come back to Calgary and pop into a Petland and pick up some mislabelled..

Got some bolivian rams from Jayba about a year ago and they've done well. They've taken their time pairing off but I now have a pair getting busy.. So it's soon to be Grandpa Jayba!!

If anyone requires more lots, please let me know. We're not quite full yet and I want us to have lots of pretty fish, plants and equipment to bid on!!

Just a heads up, there was a power outage in Calgary SE this am(that's why I didn't get out of bed until 930am, honest). Most of my Aquaclears have quit so I will have a fun am, starting impellers. Oh well, at least I slept in...

Got some floating bladderwort at the last CAS meeting(for a dollar!!) and what a cool plant.. Anybody else have any experience with this?
