  2. I love these guys! Mine are starting to get a really nice yellow edge on their fins and they are so full of character. Nice pics as well.
  3. What plant species did you use and where did you get them? How is everything doing now?
  4. Wicked! I am so looking forward to pictures of them!
  5. What types of dart frogs are you getting?!
  6. I agree with the shelldweller suggestion. They have tons of personality, are very interesting to watch and love to redecorate the sand. They are loads of fun!
  7. Neolamprologus leleupi Lamprologus brevis Neolamprologus multifasciatus Altolamprologus compressiceps Altolamprologus calvus (black) Paracyprichromis nigripinnis
  8. I used AquaPlus for years and recently switched to using Prime. Haven't noticed a difference between the two as of yet but am pleased to see the positive response for Prime. I also use a python and add the prime when the water first starts filling the tank. Seems to work just fine in my tanganyikan tank.
  9. I agree! Its beautiful! Cant wait to see it finished.
  10. Oh jeepers! This is more difficult than I thought it would be. The output spout is 5.5 feet above the sump. The drain pipe are 1.5 inches and the return lines are 3/4inch PVC piping. I don't know if this is good or bad, this is what I got. I am shooting to get a 600 gph pump so based on what everyone wrote, I am thinking this should be adequate?? (I am not new to fishkeeping, but plumbing is a new realm for me)
  11. Great job! Paludariums are awesome!
  12. I recently acquired a 56 gallon tank with an overflow and a sump system. I am wondering what size of pump I need as the pump was not included with the system. It will be used for a freshwater Tanganyika tank. Any thoughts are appreciated.
  13. Thanks for the replies! The lily will stay in our cold room and as for the hyacinth its pretty much toast anyways. It was the lily I was most concerned about. Thanks again!
