  1. HAHAHAHAHAHA...well it was my first guess...but then I looked at your signature and figured it was a pretty sure bet.
  2. :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:
  3. Welcome to the forum! I look fwd to checking out your stuff!
  4. Wow...nice size and looks like he's got quite the appetite!
  5. I would actually force them by moving the rock they were on to a dead spot in the sand...and they would just crawl? off the rock and into the sand bed and then I just scooped them up when I saw them in the sand.
  6. Welcome to the forum! Do you have pics of your tank you`d like to share?
  7. HAHA...they are totally cool!
  8. The tank is built...but it's tooo cold for me to silicone in the two braces...so i'm going to have to bring it into the house to do it! Here are a couple pics though of the tank. (haha...please disregard the massive mess behind)
  9. Welcome to the forum!! If you start small...you're guaranteeing that you're going to spend more money on a bigger tank 'cause you're going to see a fish that is so cool but you won't be able to get it 'cause your tank is too small...then you'll have to buy a bigger tank anyways 'cause that fish is just so cool you can't stand to live without it...lol Also, real plants are way cooler than plastic...though of course 'greenus plasticus' does tend to be less finicky...lol Best of luck! when you decide what you're going to do feel free to run it by us! Also, there are many of us who frequent many of the local fish stores...so if you need help all you need do is ask! Oh ya, and if you become a member of the Calgary Aquarium Society your membership card will get you a discount at many of the LFSs. (the things you learn eh?)
  10. I think you should set it up now..so when the right cyps do pop up, you're ready to jump on them! hehehehe
  11. Thank you...I quite enjoy it. This tank won 2nd place in the CAS Home Show. (I'll totally brag 'cause i'm biased...lol)
  12. The only thing I found worked for me to get rid of them was to lure them to the sand bed and scoop the darn things out.
  13. Third one looks like the majano...
  14. new pics added...yes, I know I have an addiction. I think i've got all of them up now except for the blue spot goby.
  15. I do...somewhere...POOF! This shot is from before I added Jaybas awesome Featherfins! Oh and the C. Brichardi
  16. hahaha I know! I NEED to breed these guys! I went into the garage last night to check on my 6ft tank...I'm soooo bringing it into the house to set up all the tangs in it really, really soon! BTW...i'm sure I could part with some of my Occies for ya when I move everyone over...I just need to do it after I move everyone 'cause right now they can hide in rocks and I can't get them. The Similis always stayed together, basically in a tank of their own...but they never did spawn for me. And then one day about 2 months ago the female disappeared. I'm still on the look out for more Similis...but as you can imagine...people are hanging on to them! LOL As for the Hecqui...they are really, really cool too! I lost one male...probably due to a fight or something with each other. But the remaining 3 are doing great! I really wish they would spawn for me too! Maybe when they get into the longer tank they'll start doing something for me.
  17. Thought i'd share some pics of some of my tangs. I have several...so I'll start out slowly.
  18. Octospawn is basically the same as frogspawn...but there should be more "knobs" on it. It's a very cool coral IMO.
  19. Muhahahaha...finally! Everyone is discovering the understated awrsomeness of shell dwellers! I love it!
