I too am thinking of going saltwater the tank is a 24g nano cube ... with a few fresh water fish and plants which i will move to another tank do i have to get a skimmer stright off the bat ... or can i get the tank going on salt then add it later ? and of course i'ii give the tank a good clean before adding saltwater

Ive used a old oil barrel with mine i cut it off 1/3 down with a grinder, put it up on fire pit bricks (4 high) tie a rope on the wood so you can pull it out while the water is hot

Im looking into putting Shrimp in my community tank (neons,guppys & pygmy corys)How hard are they to keep and breed? I saw some realy nice cherry shrimp at Riverfront aquarium the other day white with bright red stipes kinda clown looking

I have just bought 12 neons for a dollar each they look great in my tank I had a 90g tank for years back in England, i didn't have a problem keeping neons Angelfish on the other hand always died. Borgy

A second tank, I will have to twist my wifes arm on that one big time. It took me a load of smooth talking and flowers for this one LOL

Hi I'm Borgy, here's a little about myself I moved to Calgary from England about 7 years ago where i had a 4' tank and bread guppy's and sold to the local pet store My 18 month old son loves finding Nemo so my wife and I started looking for a tank I now own a 30 gallon hexagonal tank stocked with 3 male guppies ( one is orange and white ) and 2 pygmy corydoras
