YESSSSSssssssssss ..... I finally get it !!!!!!! Whooooooo-Hoooooooo. I kept looking for ways to get power into them and none of thr had cords to plug in ..... I am a Happy Camper Now Thank You Everyone -ham- -ham- -ham-

:& OK Here We Go .... Spounge filters .... I just cant figure out what makes them work ? Do you plug them in ? Do they have batteries ? What makes the water go threw them to collect the dirt ? I Just Dont Get It ? I know it is supposed to be easy to figure out but I Can't .... Please Don't laugh at Me .... I really can't figure these out and the seem, according to what I read, to be good as well as low priced {very important} I am thanking everyone in advance 4 not making fun of me and this old,wornout,brain of mine.... Thank-You for your understanding and support .... I also want to thank you 4 my little loves ..... I just love them. I think I can put julies in a large tank with shellies ? { I am going to do a Few Shelly tanks } Where do you suggest I get Julies from or will you be selling any ? How much are they ? and How many and what sexes is a good combo ? I am thinking of doing a 30 gal multie and Julie tank ..... what do you think of this idea ? I find it relaxing to watch the brevis, but mosely I find peice in the sand changes ...LOL I dont know why but it makes me smile. will you be haveing Multies comming up ? I am trying to understand the differances in the shelly types behavior. I keep reading it but it gets all confused in my brain . I can see the pictures of them .... but more important is having types I can enjoy I have found that I LOVE the sand designs ...Wich shellies did you enjoy the most ? Can you tell me the Pro's and Cons of the differant varietys as you see them ? {I trust you more than the internet LOL . Thank You for all your kindness shown to me ...It Means a lot. ....Linda....

Ok ..... here we go again ..... I am getting back on the damn horse that threw me in the deep muddy whole. True confesions ..... I had terrable luck / skill with the damn black Angels I Bought {despite all the good advise I recieved before and after they arrived} They died before ....and.... after I got them {much 2 my dismay} Soooo what did I do .... I withdrew and beat myself up of course {not good way 2 deal with it I know} I was devistated as I worked to try to save them {I have only 2 left} The little devils were really stressed out and not at all well .... added to this I made some mistakes.... Not a good combo for the FishyFry's survival rate.I have decided my next purchase will be better filters {I have started saveing}. These are the first fish deaths I have had, and I felt terrable and read and learned even more. I handled the feelings "wrong" {of course} by being Scarlett O'Hara {I will worry about this tomorrow behavior} and I simply withdrew inside myself. I have returned to the liveing but I am a little shakey still..... but .......... I am moveing forward again. This must sound nuts to anyone hearing my ramblings but at least I am honest in my nuttyness {is that a word?} Now I will use humor to cover up how silly I feel to let the death of a few fish get me down .... but thats me. I will give you a hint .....we use the same behaviors to cope when we are old, as we used when we were young.I am putting this all in here because I am moveing forward not asking for sypmathy just to explain to any who noticed my weird behavior lately. To those I didnt reply to in Private messages I saved them and will respond soon..... its funny but I found it hardest to talk to my fishy friends I like the most .... we are silly creatures as we get old. I can now laugh at myself a bit :& .... I do want to say that the saveing grace threw this was ..."3 Little Brevis" They are soooo small and yet they have touched my heart Ok I am getting back on the silly horse LOL :poo:

I am trying to find a store or company that will cut some slate tiles 4 me at a reasonable price ? All idea's will be appreciated. Perhaps even a store that might have broken peices of Slate. Can ceramic tile be used safely in a fish tank ? Thanking you in advance

I noticed that Wallymart and hardware stores Etc. are getting there new spring plants in .... I am wondering if any of these plants can be used in aquariums with out damage to our little Fishy Friends .... and if you know of any perhaps a list of there names if you know of any ? .... They have plants much cheaper than at the LFS ? I am trying 2 find frugal ways to get plants into my tanks and Im sure others are as well. Thanking You in Advance .... I found a bag of sea shells at Wallymart ..... I have rinsed them a few times and have left them soaking awaiting advise. I have heard many bad results about tanks getting "bad stuff" {the technical term} harming the fish already in the tank. What is the best way to wash these out that wont harm the fish? .... I have a few Harlequin Rasboras and they are fun .... they play a game I call ... up and down elevator...lol.... the all start going up and down tag in the bubbles... they never run into each oth .... sweet little fish.

I am going to keep my journal much like a "Diary" This will be just what it says "Rambling Thoughts".I get thoughts regularily since joining this learning adventure .... and 4 me that what it is ... An Adventure , My Personal Adventure as I try to become a good "Fishy Mom". Some days I will Ramble about Fish...or Plants .... Or almost anything I happen to be thinking at the time. Yesterday I was thinking about *what a great idea* haveing a test for kids and young teens that a parent or grandparent could give to loved ones to take and pass before we buy them an Aquarium. I will explain ... I would love to get my grandsons interested in doing things and developing interests that they can learn {in baby steps} about Mother Nature and all her beauty by experience with it{in this case via an aquarium}.When a grandson would say "I would love to have a fish tank" I could say great but its a big responsability .... are you willing to take the time to learn what is involved to make a home within your tank to make it safe for fish to live there ? If they say yes ... we could simply send them to a place to learn on the net {My guess is it can be found on the net somewhere}. We could then say ... if you still would like this as a hobby .... there is a "test" you can take to see if you are ready for your own tank and if you pass it we can show your mom that you ARE now ready to start your aquarium adventure. ..... Like I said before .... "Ramblings"
