I would go with 2 250w jager heaters or 200w even, i had a hydor theo and it broke in 26 days not to mention it flucuated +- 4 degrees when it did work, based on that i wouldn't buy any hydor heater. my jager keeps my 90g at +- .2 degrees and they have a lot of heating power for the watts used.

i just clean the intake,impeller, the little green plate and the inside of the motor. you can do this without taking the filter completely apart and it brings it back to full flow rate
