id have to agree with you,i started small and spent a whole lot more money than i needed to buying bigger and bigger tanks should start with a big one if you got the cash.

i was wondering ,how many species there are of arowana some web sites are contradictory,im researching arowana to find the one i like best ,so theres silver,black,platinum,red tail,green,gold,diablo red ,blood red,i think im missing some can someone fill me in? thanks

beautiful fish, i have a silver one now but i want to make the jump to a super red, how wide/long of a tank to i need to comfortably house a full grown arrowana 36" ?

i havent been able to upload photos to this site i bought a cichlid from big als and i am unsure of the name it has a silver body with faint black stipes and yellow fins ? tail im thinking auloncara but not sure i can send pics through other means if you think you know my mystery fish thanks in advance.

definatley looks like maingao , have 6 although there colors look a little dull so maybe female, or your like me and cant turn the flash off on the camera

hey i was lucky one day and bought a eureka red peacock with a mouth full of babies the mother died that night ,i dont recal her having a blue dot on her tail ,unless i was sold the wrong fish. the males look like eureka reds ,where did you buy them ? store or breeder ,my babies are still only an inch and just starting to color up so i cant really say,the white ones look like albino ice blues.
