  1. I have a 32 inch Snakehead you can have if you want to really cheese them off......make sure you tell them it's just your little one...lol
  2. I have an 8 inch black shark and a 9 inch pleco that get along well....also 6 1/2 inch Featherfin cat that gets along with them as well....all need new homes....hint hint.
  3. Try the flea market or Thrift stores, you will find quite a few funky shaped dishes. edited for speelinggg
  4. As far as I know it is a "CYA" for the manufacturer
  5. LOL....If you are referring to my little Space Dog Spiff, that cone was his best weapon against his brother and the cats after the first day of him wearing it. If I let my little buck toothed bumble fish at him the leg would be nothing but a bloody stump....lol. That pic of the severe overgrowth was taken just before I did my last trimming, it was shortly after that that I started using a feeding rock and I haven't had to trim since.
  6. As Fatpuffer mentioned, I feed them frozen bloodworms and Mysis shrimp, with the occasional feed of pond snails once a month or so as a treat .
  7. I still have 3 of them in a 35 gal, with 5 Skunk Botias, they have gotten along with no issues for a couple years now. I have found that the addition of a flat piece of rough stone to use as a feeding rock (I dump the food onto the rock and they wear their teeth down picking at their food) will reduce or even eliminate the need for home dentristry. Before I added the rock I was trimming teeth every 5-6 months, but since I stumbled onto the feeding rock I have not had to trim for 2 1/2 years so far.
  8. Ya, mine love to do the same thing.
  9. Last one I had escape made it 4 rooms away, with 3 cats & 3 dogs in the house...found it under the dryer covered in lint a week later.
  10. Do you need some Malaysian Trumpet snails to help sift through the sand....I have tons.
  11. Ya I was in looking at them the other day, just need to figure out how to free up some tank space for them.....damn MTS
  12. Auriglobus Modestus. I have quite a few pics if you need some. Also try http://www.pufferlist.com/ for care and feeding info. I kept a pair of these for a while (lost them in the move) so could likely answer any questions you may have.
  13. I found that the addition of a couple guppies seems to give them a little more courage.
  14. Found my last escapee under the washing machine.....little buggers can go up and down stairs...good luck with the search
  15. If you need thick styrofoam for this let me know, I presently have lots in the garage (most pieces 48"x48"x12")
