Well .. adding to my own thread. This morning they are both out and about. She is noticeably "thinner" but he is obviously not watching over eggs so I guess that was an unsuccessful spawn.

I'm late to this thread but I'll throw in my 2 cents ... going by the picture it looks like a Nerite snail to me,

I noticed them acting funny yesterday. They're definitely trying hard but sheesh ... this morning I found them stuck together in the filter output valve. I have a fluval and it has those 1/2 inch output valves. I managed to get them out of there with a little damage to the male's tail, I think he'll be ok. I covered the valves with mesh ... but now they're missing again. I hate to disturb them by looking for them but I'm not sure if they're stuck somewhere or not. Silly fish, plenty of caves and hidey spots and they decide to swim upstream and commit suicide in the process. Here's crossing fingers they figure this out with a little less damage. Molly

Hello, New to the board. I'm from Grande Prairie, Alberta and have two smaller tanks. A 26 Gal bowfront with 3 Peacock Gudgeons, a Dwarf Gourami, 2 Otos and Pomacea diffusa .. and a 35 Gal long, with Guitar Smiragdinas, Pearl Gourami, some Bloodfin Tetras, some Neons, Otos and Pomacea diffusa. Busy drooling over some Hujeta Gar at my LFS but my tank's not big enough ... wahhh! *waves hello* Molly
