May have a weird thing going on in my tank been watching those two for two days now and the male texas is digging up a corner of my tank and the Nicaraguan is the only thing he won't chase away and she is moving stuff around with him kinda neat to watch. Does anyone think they may try to breed?

I have a Texas cichlid and a nicaraguan cichlid digging up the corner of my tank together could this to fish really be trying to breed or just teaming to run that corner of the tank?

In the 200gal 3 jack dempseys 3 gold sevrums 2 red shoulder sevrums 2 Madagascar pollini 2 strawberry peacocks 2 blue dolphins 12 assorted rainbows In the 70gallon 2 salvini 2 firemouths 5 pictus cat fish

I myself I like to use rainbows nice colors and quick moving

There are not trying to breed I had another female with them before and he breed with her and then killed her after. I have put two female dempseys in there and he just beat them up. But I'm having some luck with a couple firemouths so far ill keep u posted and thanks for the replys

I had the same problem got rid of the frog not worth the fish

Just wondering if anyone can help out I got a 70 gallon with a male and female salvini and I would like to but someother fish in with them they hide all the time any thoughts got lots of other large fish I can take out of my 200gallon but he is a mean little bastard already beat up a Texas that is a good 2inchs bigger.

I'm currently running a 200gallon and a 70gallon.im looking to get into a 55gallon saltwater. If u have any advice would like to hear from you. I'm kinda nervous whole new world for me a lot to take in when I have been reading up on getting started
