Guppiesandshrimp

I have sand in my ten gallon and all my snails seem to hate it. ( mystery snails and an apple snail). I kinda switched them out to see if anyone of them would enjoy it but they pretty much just closed their shells. Any ideas on snails that will like being in a sand aquarium?

We used weather shield silicone. It says right on it that it is aquarium safe and it has worked great on the three we have done. Thanks for the pictures.

Hello, I am from fort Saskatchewan and don't have a whole lot of experience with fish but am learning as I go along. Currently have 9 aquariums running with a range of guppies, angels, oscars and convicts.
