i bought a bag of shells for $1.50 at the dollar store.

My BGK is 12" now and still growing.Bought it at about 5" a year ago and has been lots of fun watching it grow and perform.Yes a very kool fish,I really sorry to hear yours passed away.

The acaras are south american cichlids and the L Similis. are african cichlids.You need to chose the type of fish you want and read up on the requirements needed.

Kool! I like watching mine breed too and yes i find they do it after a big water change or cleaning.I think its all the fresh water that entices them to lay their eggs.Raising them is a bit tricky and you will lose likely lose a bunch.Good luck and enjoy.

Where in Calgary can I find the sil#9?

I have 3 clown loaches about 3-4 inches in size.There is one that hides 24-7,if it comes out it is when nobody is around.Never see it and am often wondering if it is still alive.Any sugestions on how to get it out with the other two.

I have kept fish off and on for 25 years.I have 7 tanks running now and probably more to come I am looking to meet some local breeders so as i can stock my tanks with healthy and strong bloodline fish.I presently have discus,africans,angels,fancy guppies,rainbows,but not all together obviously.Im looking for some nice angels and a few other fish to put in a planted 90 gallon.
