  1. When I was back in Halifax we have done a few with great success. We used Below Water and Golds. They are actually in the middle of a bulk order now with Golds...ironic. Stacey
  2. Called Hagen this morning and went to my nearest Hagen dealer for an exchange of the FX5. Thanks Hagen, YOU ROCK! Stacey
  3. Great idea, I'll drop them a line. Stacey
  4. I got a new one in Halifax just before I left and brought it with me in hopes of finding a tank to set up before the family moves in July/August. I just opened it up last night for the first time to find that one of the latches is broken and a handle is cracked on the side. What the heck do I do with it now? Stacey

    Hello!

I'm also new but want to welcome you. Stacey
  7. I was at the auction but had to leave early with a prior commitment Would have been nice to pick up on some of those Africans, specifically the Rustys and those definitely the "Green Zebra" Afra. Stacey
  8. Thanks all for the welcome. To answer a few questions; I am in the Air Force and will be flying with the Griffon helicopter, Not to much breeding going on now as we got rid of all our Malawians but we were breeding Cyphotilapia frontosa "Burundi" and Brichardi. We also keep Red Head Cichlids, Firemouths, Severums, Blood Parrots, Green Terror a couple of Pictus and a dozen or so Clown Loaches. JHG is Jasen Gannon and he is right in Halifax. I didn't bother to ship the Malawians because there were 15 tanks of them, they seemed a lot easier to get out here and the cost would have been too great. When we get a little more settled I will be getting back into Malawian Cichlids and will have our Tangs and South/Centrals shipped from Halifax. No worries for the help Art, more to come in the future. Darcy, I am very interested in the Afra fy you have  Stacey
  9. Hi all, just wanted to jump in here and introduce myself. My wife Cyndie and I are new to Edmonton and are looking forward to meeting many. We are coming from the East Coast Aquarium Society http://www.eastcoastaquariumsociety.ca based out of Halifax and are in the midst right now of looking for a home. I am located on the base until I can move my family for good once my children are out of school. I have been lucky already in that I have met some great people and got to attend an ACE meeting/auction my second weekend in town. We were keeping Malawian, Tangs and South/Central American Cichlids. We will be having the Tangs and Central/Souths shipped but have to start from scratch on the Malawians. Stacey Blackmore
  10. Amazing color for the size. Stacey
