i would say that they are ps. socolofii. i have kept them before.....but this is just a guess with the pix that u have given me.....but i think your right. head and fin shape seem to correspond. i had 6 blue socolofii and 6 albino's in a 120 gal. they were fine as juvies but as soon as they hit breeding age all hell broke loose...........beautiful fish enjoy.............

so here is the scoop. i nused them to move a 60 gal tank. freaking scary...........id feel comfertable moveing a 45 gal and no bigger. it barely held on to the 60 gal. (all 1/2" glass im guessing @ around 200 lbs??) so i wouldn't reccomend anyone to use these for large tanks......HOWEVER i found them extremely usefull for cutting apart and resealing tanks. moveing 4ftx2ftx1/2" by myself was a breeze. so if you are repairing or making tanks id say this is a must have.........makes life that much easyer

HOUSE OF TOOLS sells these double suction cups with a handle in the middle they were $9.99 ea and work really well doesnt say what its rated for but um gonna try it on a 60 gal home made tank. if it falls appart ill tell u. i attached it to my door and damn near pulled the door out of the frame. some smaller cheaper ones i could pull off the door. man did i look like a freak attaching this stuff to other stuff and pullin on it in the hardware store. from what i can tell a really good buy

so i forgot to close the lid in my female holding/fry tank and a yellow chin chillumba zebra decided to make a break for dry land. i just found a shriveled female on the floor with about 60 free swimming fry all dried up.....makes me mad......why would tht stupid fish do that? makes me want to packit in and say %$#@ it..............

well brown algae id kill the lights for a few days put a few extra plecos in there....nitrite id do a 40 % water change and wait a bit and check again. the "good bacteria" that breaks this stuff down might not be at full potentinal.....i suppose we need to know what kinda filtration and how long has it been running?

feeding live fish is as natural as rain. eventhough we have them captive in a man made environment i have a lot of wild fish and i think its unfair to feed them "man made food"(with the exceptioin of NLS)for them to be brought out of the wild put on a plane and then in my tank. all i try to do is simulate where this fishes come from to the best of my ability. so i see no reason not to feed live foods....imagine the zoos feeding tigers by throwing in a live gazell dont ya think that tiger wont be so depressed about being in captivity?

well i have found that feeder fish are not a thing to worry about. i dont shead a tear for it. do you cry when a lion eats a zebra? survival of the fittest.....i have thrown in feeders with my africans and allways out of a bag of 30 or so feeders 1 gold fish useually doesent get eaten. he seems to co exsist with the africans. this tells me that some how 1 was smart enought to survive......as for the other 29.....dummies and would it sadden you if i said my rbps have eaten countless SA chclids?

im currently breeding whats im my signature...i know someone that breeds fronts peacocks electric yellows. and there are a few people that breed stuff here on this site

now i know it says in the inst. manual that it says to use only fluval brand media in the 404 but as far as im concerned they allready got way too much money outta me for buying it. was wondering if i coud use whater i wanted without wrecking the filter? has anyone tried this?
