Dont do it !! That guy got me hooked on building and mimicking his projects and cant stop !! In all seriousness though, he is great. Some of the finished products I am not a fan of the finished product look of to tell the truth however the tanks and variations of are awesome. Helped me to debunk some of my previous thoughts about how things worked as well. Those youtube videos are a rabbit hole you dont want to go down if you dont have a few days to spare.

Hope this is the right category !! Anyways , fairly new to Edmonton and I am wanting to put together a few tanks here. Where is best to purchase glass from ? I had talked to a few places today and they would not sell to "retail" even if I put in an order over 10K ?? Odd to me.. I didnt want to buy that much glass however if I had to I really dont care either as I would just build a few more 180G ~ Hehe .. Anyone build out there and willing to point me in the right direction? I forget what site I found online however what they wanted to charge me for a Ultra clear 12mm sheet to build a 180 would cost me more than just to buy it! Thank you in advance for any help.

New to here but not the hobby. I don’t “do”social media but like browsing the forums for info and other aquarists opinions. Been in Edmonton a while but just getting my tanks up and running again after a forced hiatus from moving continents ! Unfortunately was unable to bring my tanks and such with me so decided to start all over again. I am an African Cichlid kind of guy and always love my Aro’s as well. My significant other has made me promise not to be building anything over 300G or in house ponds this time so will have to limit myself ** let’s see how long that lasts!** Anyways , glad to come across an active site and look forward to learning and sharing knowledge.
