Jennifer9821
Just wondering but did you get it from Animal World? I didn't think you could breed rays in captivity, is it hard to get them to breed and how do you tell male and female apart? Cool ray though? Wish I had the room to have one but I don't. wtac
Nice looking ray pelle . There's a few Czech ppl I know that are breeding rays with great success. The trick is having them shipped where the handlers don't put the boxes upside down. I know as I have put an empty vial inverted in a larger vial with colored water and sealed, taped to the inside of the boxes and the receiver has mentioned that the boxes have been upside down at some point. IME, Air Canada is the worst for handling here in ON. I'll try to get some info on water parameters (from Czech) for you. Wilson
Pelle31
Jen yea I got it from animal world. They were on hold for someone else. I guess they put the other one in a *gulp* 25 gallon. Yea you can breed them. As for males and females you can tell at the ends of the disc close to the tail males have claspers and females don't. I'm gonna try and track down where the second is and try and buy it from the people that have it. Can't see it livin to long in a 25. Wilson thanks for the post and yea would like info on there water prams. Do they sell Rays here also?
