Rainmaker69 Posted February 16, 2007 Report Share Posted February 16, 2007 I just picked up a T5 double strip with a 21W 10000K daylight and a 21W true actinic 03 bulb. It is a 36" strip but when I put it on the tank, I noticed that it seems a lot duller than my 36" T8 double with 30W Power-glo lamps rated at 18000K, which are about a 18 months old. Are there 18000K T5 bulbs available or can I run HO with this strip? It is on my 33G marine tank. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

African_Fever Posted February 16, 2007 Report Share Posted February 16, 2007 I've never had any issues with the T5's I've used at all, but I'd definitely make sure you get the HO T5's rather than the regular T5's.
