Vallisneria Posted February 22, 2007 Report Share Posted February 22, 2007 Shrimp molt their shells, so if the thing you found looks like just the skin then its probably just its old shell. When molting they break out the back part of their shell and the left over shell looks white and sort of clear with the back split open.
