corrosionjerry
I have recently set up an African tank. I know that sooner or later algae will apear, what do you people do for algae prevention ... I really want to keep the tank native Lake Malawi... are there any native fish that will do this work.. Thank You
jvision
Most mbuna are algae grazers, so let some algae grow. As far as sucker-mouth cats (ie. plecos) there are none that I know of, native to Malawi.

corrosionjerry
Thanks Jason. Are there any Nerites that are native to that region?
Qattarra
I use a dedicated sponge to wipe glass just before a water change and since that's weekly there is very little that ever gets a foothold on the inner glass. It just feels like I'm wiping off slime. Sue
