shannabel
Ok gang I bought a Eheim 2213 for my 20 gal tank (also have a Aquaclear 150) on it. Overkill I know but I thinking towards the future and it was on sale. Anyways in the box there is a green pipe piece that is bent and is split. (not sure that that is thw word I am looking for). I can not figure out what the heck it is for. The only thing that I can think of is it is supposed to go over the hose to prevent kinking if you have a piece that tends to kink. Yikes that made sense. Any help will be appreciated!! Shannon S

shannabel
Thanks so much! It was only $99.00 dollars so I thought that was a pretty good price. I have a Magnum 350 on my 90 gallon and had no problems with it but I have heard that the Eheims are better. I inherited the tank from my uncle who passed away in 1997. He had 4 90 gallon tanks and one 110 gallon tank (my aunt donated this one to the zoo)The only thing I am not fan of is that there tubes are very soft and do kink easy. My Magnum hoses are much stiffer and do not bend a lot. Shannon S
