seajays
Can I put Swordtails in with not too aggressive cichlids?

Sam Chicklets
I have 1 tiger plattie juvie that is only 3/4" in a tank with 2 german rams and a 4" rainbow cichlid, it has been with them from new born.
Vallisneria
I agree that it really depends on the cichlids. If its dwarf cichlids or smaller peaceful cichlids it should be ok. But if its africans or larger CA cichlids, I would say no
seajays
Guess I better not try them as I have Africans....Thanks
Ehren
I wouldn't, they will just eat them up. Except for the Blood Parrot Cichlid, It's mouth dosen't close so it dosen't bite or get too aggressive, unless I put my hand in there, it seems to like the taste of human. Vallisneria
I once put a platy in with my "peaceful" yellow labs and Acei and they it wasn't too pleasant to watch. I definately wouldn't put sword tails, their big tails are just asking to be eaten.
