Sam Chicklets
I went to home building supplies today in search of GE Silicone I. When they told me they only had GE Silicone II and asked why I wanted the other they showed me this. Tanker
Going to be a hot little rush on that product, I think!
sheloudre
Got to be cheaper than the actual MARINE aquarium glue they sell. It sells for around $10 here, give or take. Going to take a look at HH here too. I KNOW they carry that brand of silicone.
bottomdweller_fan
They even carry it in packs of three !
darkangel
Awsome deal on this stuff, But read the label carefully. It states that it is good for aquariums up to 100gal. I use this all the time on my smaller tanks but on anything 100gal or more I use construction/stuctural silicone. Costs a little more but worth it. firestorm
Great info sam, and for the price it is worth it. I wonder if they will have it at a home hardware in calgary....if they carry it there they should have it here as well. And thanks dark angel for the info about the size of tanks it is good for. So is this stuff good for gluing rocks and such together for decorations in your aquarium? Edited April 10, 2008 by firestorm
Sam Chicklets
Yes it works good depending on what you intend to glue together.
